The Australian government has added two top managers of Zimbabwe's cricket establishment to its list of individuals subject to travel and financial sanctions.
Zimbabwe Cricket President Peter Chingoka and Chief Executive Ozias Bvute are banned from travel in Australia and any of their assets held there are subject to being frozen. They were among 73 supporters of President Robert Mugabe added to Canberra's sanctions list.
Former Zimbabwe cricketer Henry Olonga, in exile in Britain, told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that this was a step in the right direction.
