Zimbabwe secured a 2-2 draw against Ghana on Monday evening in the African Nations Championship - though the Warriors gave up an early 2-0 lead to miss an upset.
Ghana was rescued from humiliation by midfielder Ibrahim Ayew, son of football legend Abedi "Pele" Ayew, who scored two goals to equalize the match in Bouake, Cote d'Ivoire.
Sports commentator Bekiphilo Nyoni told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that the Warriors got off to a good start against Ghana.
Zimbabwe's national team will next play the Democratic Republic of Congo and Libya.
Zimbabwe's two first-half goals were contributed by Ovid Karuru and Phillip Marufu.
