The Zimbabwe Warriors on Wednesday squeaked through to the quarter finals of the Cosafa Senior Challenge Cup as Lesotho bested Mauritius 1-0 though coming up short of the total points to date required to knock Zimbabwe out of contention for the cup.
The Warriors tied 2-2 with Lesotho on Monday.
The Warriors will await results of Group "B" winners in Bulawayo on Thursday to book a berth for the quarter finals Monday in the western city, Zimbabwe's second-largest.
Warriors Coach Sunday Chidzambwa told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye his team will be showing up in Bulawayo next week with a strengthened defense.
