The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) says it has produced a voters education manual which will soon be distributed in all provinces as part of its voter election campaigns.
ZEC deputy commissioner Joyce Kazembe told journalists in Harare that the electoral body is finalizing strategies of distributing the manual containing information on voters rights and electoral processes.
Kazembe could not be drawn to comment on the manual's production costs and organizations that will distribute it.
The handbook provides necessary information on conducting elections and general procedures to be followed by the public in any poll.
Human rights activists and observers have complained bitterly over the years about the electoral process in Zimbabwe.
The Electoral Act allows ZEC to conduct activities such as voter education and related campaigns.
Election Resource Center director Tawanda Chimhini said the commission should always assist Zimbabweans in understanding voting pricesses.
