Zimbabwe Women's Soccer League Secretary General Eusebia Nleya-Maseko said Wednesday she hopes the Mighty Warriors can go into training camp by the middle of the month before a 2008 Olympics qualifying match in Guinea in February.
Nleya-Maseko said that despite press reports saying that the Zimbabwe Football Association has failed to raise US$56,000 to cover the team's airfares to Guinea, she remains hopeful that her team will enter camp as planned.
She told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga- Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that preparations are at an advanced stage for Sunday’s start of training.
