India's "A" cricket team overwhelmed a Zimbabwe select team in the second of two four-day unlimited-overs matches Wednesday at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, bringing play to an end one day early having piled up 233 runs.
Zimbabwe's inclusion of former captain Tatenda Taibu, who rejoined the team after a two-year absence, was not enough to inspire the Zimbabwean team to victory.
The match was supposed to have ended on Thursday but the Indian players headed off to Kenya ahead schedule, having won the first match in Harare last week.
Zimbabwe must rethink strategy before a match with South Africa later this month.
Sports commentator Thando Ncube told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that Zimbabwe’s select team was badly outclassed by the Indian squad.
