Coach Kaindu: Highlanders Conquering Machine Ready to Crush Visiting Gunners

Highlanders Football Club hope to continue their unbeaten run in the premier soccer league as they host Gunners Football Club this Sunday.

Bosso are currently on top of the Castle Lager Premier League table with 39 points after an unbeaten 17 match run.

Coach Kelvin Kaindu told VOA Studio 7’s Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye his team is prepared to defend its unbeaten run in the premier league when they play Gunners.

Gunners technical advisor Masimba Mutame said his team will take Highlanders by surprise as it took an own goal in the reverse fixture for the Bulawayo giants to beat the Harare outfit.


Highlanders started the second half of the season on a high note by walloping Quelaton 7-1 at Barbourfields before beating pharmaceutical side Caps United 2-0 in Harare after dismissing the green machine that has lost its glory 1-0 in the City of Kings.

Gunners are currently on position 12 with five wins, three draws and nine losses.
