In Chimanimani district in eastern Zimbabwe, Reuters videos shows residents mourning the loss of loved ones who died as a result of Cyclone Idai, which has caused torrential rains and winds of up to 170 km per hour. The storm destroyed roads, homes and bridges, and power and communication lines.
