WASHINGTON DC —
Top musician Sandra Ndebele has been appointed Mpilo Hospital ambassador tasked with raising funds for upgrading the crumbling health institute.
Ndebele says she is looking for any help from the international community, local Zimbabweans and those living in the diaspora.
“Every dollar counts. If one million people donate a dollar each, that will help a lot in reviving Mpilo hospital,” she says.
She further says some people and companies can also adopt any part of the hospital in order to revive operations crippled by lack of state funding.
Mpilo Hospital is the largest referral medical center in Matabeleland and the Midlands region, serving millions of people with various ailments.
