WASHINGTON DC —
South African clubs have shown interest in two of Zimbabwe’s national team players - Kuda Mahachi and Simba Sithole - following their good performance in the Africa Championships in that country.
According to the South African media, Mamelodi Sundowns are chasing the signature of Mahachi while Ajax Cape Town are reportedly interested in the services of Sithole.
The two have been part of the Zimbabwe Warriors squad that reached the semi-finals of the tournament. The Zimbabwe side fell to Libya in the semis.
Mahachi scored some of a crucial goal in the quarter finals while Sithole was a shinning beacon since landing in South Africa two weeks ago.
There are several Zimbabwean players featuring for South African clubs.
