The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) is expected to hold a meeting tomorrow to decide on the future of Warriors coach, Zdravko Logarusic, following countrywide for him to be sacked for poor performance.

The Croat is not a favourite of many after Zimbabwe fell to a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of little Ethiopia. The Zimbabwean team had also stuttered to a disappointing 0-0 draw against a youthful South Africa team.

This was after the Warriors were also knocked out in the first round of both the CHAN and the COSAFA Cup, giving Logarusic a record of one win in 14 matches since assuming his duties.

Zifa board member in charge of all national teams, Brighton Malandule, says they will come up with recommendations on the fate of Warriors coach, whose coaching record has been questioned by many soccer analysts.

There are reports that ZIfa have discreetly placed Benjani Mwaruwari on standby to take over.

Some people feel the ‘Undertaker’, as Mwaruwari is affectionately known, is still not ready for this task.
