'I'll Be There for Him,' Catholic Priest Says of Mugabe's Assurance to Mngangagwa
Father Fidelis Mukonori, the Catholic priest who was with former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe following the military takeover, said President Emmerson Mnangagwa invited Mr. Mugabe to his inauguration, but Mr. Mugabe declined, offering instead to be at "his disposal," whenever he needed him.
